Den Harrow is an Italian Italo-disco and Italo-house singer born Stefano Zandri on June 4, 1962, in Nova Milanese, in the province of Monza and Brianza, Lombardy. His father was an architect. At the age of seven, he began learning piano. He moved to Milan, Italy, with his mother.
His biggest international hit remains "Don't Break My Heart" (number 4 in Germany, number 5 in Sweden on the airplay charts, number 6 in Italy and Switzerland), which earned him a Golden Otto Bravo award for best male singer of 1987 in Germany.
His first hit, "Mad Desire," was sung by Silver Pozzoli in 1985. From 1985 to 1988, almost all of Den Harrow's songs were actually sung by Tom Hooker, and then by Anthony James in 1988 and 1989. In the 90s, he began working with Mauro Farina on his label One Way Records and started singing professionally. Since then, he has lived in Brescia, Italy.
