Born in Beirut in 1960, Gazebo (real name Paul Mazzolini) is an iconic figure of 1980s Italian pop. The son of an Italian diplomat and an American singer, he grew up immersed in multiple cultures and discovered his passion for music at a very young age.

After his first hit in 1981 with "Masterpiece," he achieved worldwide acclaim in 1983 with "I Like Chopin," which sold over ten million copies and reached number one in numerous countries. This was followed by other notable tracks such as "Telephone Mama" and "Dolce Vita," co-written for Ryan Paris.

A complete artist—songwriter, composer, and producer—Gazebo founded his own label, Lunatic Records, and later Softworks, where he explored new sounds blending pop, rock, and electronic music. He released several acclaimed albums, including *The Syndrone* (2008) and *Reset* (2015), and celebrated over 30 years in the music industry with the live album *I Like… Live*.

Still active on stage and in the studio, Gazebo continues to blend elegance, nostalgia and modernity, remaining true to the timeless spirit of romantic pop that has brought them success.
